The Commissioner for Heritage’s Office of the Development Bureau launched the Financial Assistance for Maintenance Scheme in 2008 to provide grants to owners of privately owned graded historic buildings for carrying out minor maintenance works themselves and preventing the buildings from deterioration due to lack of maintenance. This exhibition displays photos of 18 featured privately owned graded historic buildings that have undergone maintenance works with financial support from the scheme, aiming to enhance public understanding of the scheme and the rich heritage of Hong Kong.
