The Daily Practice Routine of Michael So Ho chi (MMus 2)
Michael is a millennial who is studying music. He dedicated most of the time in his life for practice and scrolling through his phone. Like what Steven Wilson written in his “Fear of a Blank Planet”: “Xbox is a Godto me”, scrolling through all the social platforms and YouTube is his relief from this dull and boring life. But the phone gradually takes over his life that he even cannot focus on the things he ought to do. Poor Michael. Be like Michael. What is “Music”? Organized sound? Score? Emotion which induced by sound? This seems to be a million dollars question that can never be answered, isn’t it? We would go even further from musical topics to non-musical topics when we discuss on this question. Can music morethan “music”? Can music be some gestures or moving images? What multimedia means to me? To find the answer of these question, I instinctively think that I cannot simply find the answer in music but through exploring and wondering into other art forms

What’s Next? Kelvin Lee Yin tak (BMus 3)
Without the scene, what will movie become?

Sunset Harmony in the Air Simon Yip Sai (BMus 3)
Sunset Harmony in the Air is a lyrical piece in which I try to depict a quiet sunset by blending lyricism in Chinese Music and colorful contemporary harmony together. The Chinese recorder Xiao has a wonderful mellow tone color which I find it soothing yet melancholic. The piano part provides some contrasting jazzy gestures but it is totally soaked in the breathy melody of the Xiao.

Solitude (Winter) Anson Wai Chun on (BMus 3)
No Boring (Winter) is a Chinese Song Poem by Zhou Bang Yan. The first part of the poem describes the view of winter and the second part describe the mood of the poet. The unique form inspires me a lot.

Floating Henry Tsang Chi-yeung (BMus 3)
They are just some fragments/ images floating in my mind when I am dozing off during the lesson.

Arrhythmia Chow Tsz-hin (BMus 3)
‘Arrhythmia’ means irregular heartbeat. This piece is intended to picture the state of mind ofa person who is committing evil deeds.Hellish Cuisine by Devilish Wife

鬼嫁の地獄料理 Simon Yip Sai-man (BMus 3)
Tomato cucumber feta salad
Spinach salad with pear and gorgonzola
