Lingering Liminality: the realm of process, experimentation and the in-between
Visual Arts

Description
Description
Lingering Liminality: the realm of process, experimentation and the in-between takes on as an extension stemmed from the series of experimentations during the Micro-Narratives studio sessions. From diving into thick conversations on videography to stepping in and out of the boundless scope of video experimentation, artists fully immersed in the zone of the “in-between”, where they submerge, or riskily struggle to float.
The exhibition showcases a body of works in the form of single-channel videos and site-specific video installation. Single-channel Program I: Let the Camera Work, Let the Artist Play places its focus on the indexical properties of the camera, and the artist’s astute awareness of the “where, when and how” when pressing the record button, and of the transformative potential of “the moment.”
