Andrew Ling’s Music Jukebox

Description

Description

The Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra will perform three concerts in November entitled “Andrew Ling’s Music Jukebox”, with Andrew Ling as guest conductor, violin soloist, viola soloist and host. Ling will explore the incredible possibilities of orchestral music during the concerts.

The concerts, with Dr Yip Wai-hong as music director and featuring an array of familiar works, will be fun-filled occasions for young music lovers and their families. The programme includes Rossini’s “Overture to ‘William Tell'”, Offenbach’s “Can Can from ‘Orpheus in the Underworld'”, Sarasate’s “Carmen Fantasy, 2nd Movement”, Schubert’s “Ave Maria”, Mascagni’s “Intermezzo from ‘Cavalleria Rusticana'” and Grieg’s “Peer Gynt Suite No. 1”.
