Description
Prime Minister Wang Yun holds a party to choose a husband for Baochuan, his youngest daughter. Baochuan insists on marrying a begger Xue Pinggui. Wang Yun refuse and drove them away with anger. The couple goes to an old cave to live in poverty. For food, Pinggui join the army and leave his wife for eighteen years.
