Caught In The Net

Description

Description

“Caught in the Net” is the sequel to Cooney’s earlier classic “Run for Your Wife”, which enjoyed a record nine-year run in London’s West End and went on to further success worldwide.

The hijinks of yesteryear continue in “Caught in the Net”, as Cooney’s two-timing taxi-driver continues to revel in his dual-shift, double-wife lifestyle, and is still blessed with the round-the-clock help and unwavering support of his die-hard buddy. The difference now is that he has a son and a daughter – by different wives, of course. The teenagers have never met, nor do they know of each other’s existence, as they have been raised in separate families. A crisis duly arises however, because now – 16 years later – we have Facebook. Brother and sister have found each other in a “dad with same name” group and are about to meet for the first time. Our polygamous taxi-driver and his buddy rack their brains and pull out all the stops to prevent the siblings’ encounter.
