Description
Description
The fluttering of a butterfly’s wings looks as if a paintbrush was painting in the air; but it also looks like a dance. There is a butterfly house made of gauze and colourful images projected onto a white carpet and two big wings enwrapped all the space on stage. The performance is best described as a painting in movement where music, video images and dance merged to create a sensory experience depicting a butterfly’s progression from egg to caterpillar to winged beauty. Some of the children may have a chance to join the two dancers to play with the high-tech and touch-sensitive carpet on stage.
