Description
In this sensitive and endearing monologue, Caroline Loeb gives a voice to Sagan the Indomitable.
After her successful show about George Sand – “George Sand, my life, her work” -, Caroline Loeb takes on another great French literary icon, Francoise Sagan.
Collecting her in-depth interviews published by Stock under “Je ne renie rien”, Caroline Loeb weaves a monologue in which the author of “Bonjour Tristesse” shows her kindness, ferocious intelligence and subtle humour.
With her moving, funny, lucid and tenacious spirit, Sagan speaks of her absolute love for literature, of the fragility of men, of the importance of desire, of her disdain for money, of her passion for gambling and of death in ambush.
Teaming once again with Alex Lutz as a director, Caroline Loeb plays in an astonishing way the role of this life enthusiast, always on the edge of danger.
