Description
A Solo Exhibition of the artwork of Martin Riese using photo collage to explore the relationship between humanity, machine technology, cities and religion. Over 20 pieces of photo collage, electronic sculpture and video.
The manifestations of technology can be seen as ornament and nostalgia.
They reflect the narcissistic and paradoxical relationship between man and machine.
This can be represented with broken symmetry similar to what is found in nature.
Collage mirrors the experience of individual and collective memory.
Humanity is the ghost in the machine.
