Goldfish Is Meant For Dying

Description

Description

The performance is set up as a rather whimsical lecture, hosted by an academic character. Through him, the audience is introduced to the historical, mythological and aquatic mysteries of the goldfish. As the performance develops, the lecturer keeps sidetracking, accompanied by aquatic stage-effects. From being a purely verbal lecture, it evolves into a physical play. It becomes a fictional disorientation, where even the host himself appears as a human-size goldfish, enthusiastically and rather pitifully doing everything in his power to reflect on the goldfish and our human society.
