Since its launching in 1996, Hong Kong Dance Expo has greatly enhanced the popularity and development of dance art and has been much welcome and recognized by Hong Kong people. It has inspired different forms of dance performances, integrated many local dance groups and motivated their enthusiasts. More than 50 dance groups participate in the event every year. With the professionalism in artistic planning and management, they have created vitality and improved their performance standards. There were three 15-20 mins. outstanding dance programmes rewards their subsidy from the Expo’s organized committee.
