Memories of King Kowloon

Description

Description

This retrospective exhibition was held at ArtisTree in Taikoo Place for the legendary Hong Kong icon, Tsang Tsou-choi (1921–2007). Known as ‘King Kowloon’, his calligraphy was seen as truly emblematic of the city. The exhibition included over 300 original pieces of Tsang’s work – the biggest ever display of his collection, over 30 interviews with influential figures who each shared their insights, and tribute works by international, local artists and students.
