Description
I am a firm believer that education can never be done behind four walls. I bring students out of the classroom into the community and the streets where they will meet in person the different faces of lives. The diverse experiences invoke inspirations rationally and emotionally. Students will only grow and acquire critical thinking under these circumstances. This is a learning classrooms and text books cannot deliver.
Deeply inspired by the Pink Floyd´s movie, ¨THE WALL¨, I always remind myself not to complicit with the school system. For 18 years, I have been trying to open up learning spaces for ideological as well as sentimental education, in a bid to escape from the constraints of the already obsolete teaching method. Let art lives with our daily living. Let teaching be part of the democratic movement. By keeping pace with changes in the society and the world at large, I hope students could better serve as critical and responsible citizens and help build a more humane civil society.
