Description
“Physical Theatre Institute 2-Year Youth Training Programme 2017/18 Final Presentation” comes from Tang Shurong’s “Pre-Language” method of expression, Chinese Tai Chi and Indian Yoga. The participants (16 to 23 years old) have a preliminary understanding and induction of the body in order to find internal and external cooperation. The creative drive is expected to provide Hong Kong with vision and high-quality drama successors. The program was awarded the “Award of Art Education (non-school group)” by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 2015. The achievements were highly recognized by the industry.
PTI 2017/18 Final Presentation was performed by first- and second-year students of the course on the same stage. The contents of “Part A” were directed by the curriculum director Tang Shu Wing and tutor Andy Ng, Rocky Wong and Henry Chan. Performing demonstrations including basic training and improvisation.The contents of “Part B” were directed by the curriculum director Tang Shu Wing and tutor Andy Ng, Rocky Wong and Henry Chan.The dramatic selections are from Titus 2.0, Detention, Antigone and other classic piece.
