“Salty Roast Crane” by Guangdong Modern Dance Company

City Contemporary Dance Festival 2014
Description
Description
Crane represents longevity, an auspicious symbol of elegance. But when the crane is roasted with salt instead of a chicken in the traditional Hakka way, what would it taste like? Salty Roast Crane is a work about restrictions, expressing the struggle between chaos and loneliness, restlessness and indifferent, as well as the helpless yet sensitive contemporary. How can one escape from confined thoughts and conscience, and find a solution to break through?
