Circus sideshows feature odd characters and experiences that are strange and unique. It is a secondary production that complements the well-rehearsed and perfectly-polished main circus attraction.

In many ways, ArtBasel resembles a traveling circus. Voxfire Gallery is therefore pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition “Sideshow Basel” just in time as the largest traveling art show arrives to Hong Kong.

The show will feature three emerging Hong Kong-based young artists. They will share personal works that also happen to reflect perspectives from the three markets (Switzerland, Miami & HK) where ArtBasel travels to each year.

Keeping with the theme of a circus sideshow, each artist will feature works that are fun, quirky, and, in their own way, odd and strange.
