Description
Description
Inspired by a wide-spread internet forum rumor, The Big Big Day tells the prologue id a seemingly happy wedding that went all wrong: while enjoying the video section of the banquet, everyone was suddenly caught off guard by a photo of the bridegroom, naked, followed by an even more shocking one showing him and the bridesmaid on the bed! The screen froze. The bride took to the stage and said “So you know what it’s all about. The wedding is over now. Please kindly take back your cash gift”…
Farmer Hong, mastermind of the highly popular local television drama Inbound Troubles, tackles the complicated issues of how well we communicate and understand each other in this digital age, and the underlying moral values with this slightly offbeat and hugely funny comedy, prompting us to reflect on our relationship with family members with and uplifting message: nothing is more important than treasuring our kinship.
