The Happy Prince
Theatre

Description
Description
Based on the classic short story of Oscar Wilde. A small swallow meets and makes friends with the royal statue of the late “Happy Prince”, which houses the soul of the original prince, who in reality had never experienced true happiness. The statue is moved by the sufferings he sees around him, and asks the swallow to peel off his gold covering and give it to various poor and needy people. Inspired by the statue’s selfless acts, the swallow devotes all its efforts and even its life to serve the people.
