Maurizio Simeoli studied under Giuseppe Rocca (Solo Piccolo of La Scala Opera House from 1954 to 1984) graduating in 1981. In 1982 he was invited to play at Teatro Regio Opera House Orchestra in Parma as Solo Flute and Piccolo. In 1983 he began his artistic relationship with La Scala Opera House in Milan.
In 2010 he left La Scala, and began working freelance with other prestigious European Orchestras. For almost ten years he was a member of “I Solisti Veneti”, conducted by Claudio Scimone. He is currently Principal Teacher for Piccolo Flute at Conservatorio Luca Marenzio in Brescia.
Natalia Gavrilan, mezzo-soprano born in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova), started her opera studies at the age of 15, taking private lessons from the Moldovan Music Academy professor Polina Botezat while later joining and graduating with honours from the Academy itself. She then entered the Teatro alla Scala Academy of Lyric Opera to improve herself under the guidance of well-known artists such as Leila Gencer, Luciana Serra, Riccardo Muti, Luigi Alva, Leo Nucci.
Natalia collaborated with conductors like R. Abbado, R. Muti, A. Zedda, M. Mariotti, I. Metzmacher, D. Renzetti, E. Mazzola, P. Carignani, J. Webb, Y. Temirkanov, M. Tatarnikov、 and directors like P.L. Pizzi, P. Curran, T. Gilliam, C. Loy, E. Sagi, L. Pasqual, D. Michieletto, M. Gandini.
Inessa Filistovich was born in Minsk (Belarus) and brilliantly graduated at M.I. Glinka College of Music in her hometown. After moving to Italy, she graduated in Piano (Cum Laude) at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan where she studied under the guidance of Sergio Lattes. She has also obtained a harpsichord diploma and later studied with Oleg Marshev.
After graduating she mainly dedicated herself to chamber music and accompaniment, while participating in masterclasses with renowned artists such as M. Freni, F. Cedolins, L. Alva, J. Aragal, M. Berti, D. Formisano and B. Grossi. As a postgraduate, she trained as a répétiteur at La Scala Opera House Academy. Inessa is currently teaching at La Scala Academy.
