In 2009, CCDC introduced the concept of “ WuDaoQingNian- Professional Dance Training and Podium Dance Performance” to the Mainland. Launching Guangdong Modern Dance Company, we worked with local universities and organizations to train young dancers in the province. We also organized a new edition of “ Hong Kong WuDaoQingNian”. “Dancing Youths” from both cities shared their experiences with one another. In addition, we worked with communities in Hong Kong and Guangzhou to stage public podium dance performances in order to promote cultural exchange in the Pearl River Delta.
