Exploration Theatre

Introduction

Exploration Theatre was established in summer 1982 with Mr Chung King-fai, the founding Dean of the School of Drama at the Hong Kong Academy for the performing Arts, as the Chairman of the Board. The founder of Exploration Theatre Karley Ng has been serving as the Artistic Director since the establishment. Now operating independently, Exploration Theatre is the first publicly funded local theatre company started from amateur to the professional.
