Hong Kong Metropolitan Chorus

Introduction

The Hong Kong Metropolitan Chorus is dedicated to western choral music in multi-languages. HKMC is a chorus, a singing group and a choir! As a non-profit making body, The Chorus aims at promoting the art of vocal performance in classical and contemporary styles, and it provides venues for members to work on songs for three to four public performances throughout the year! Under the direction of Mr Lam Ho Chi, Ronald, the Chorus meets weekly for rehearsals to seek excellence in vocal quality and performance standards! Between 2009 and 2014, it performed chorus in five opera productions in Hong Kong City Hall and Hong Kong Cultural Centre: Struss`s Die Fledermaus in 2009, Offenbach`s Orphee Aux Enfers in 2010, La Vie Parisienne in 2011, L`elisir D`amore in 2013 & La Cenerentola in 2014! Its other public shows featured Jazz, Gospel and Musical styles plus stage acting and dances! The HKMC determines to bring out the best of its membrs` potentials in singing performance! It welcomes new members to join.
