We Draman Group

Introduction

Founded in 1993, We Draman is dedicated to developing a highly inclusive platform of creativity, attracting artists and professionals to promote local theatrical art.

Persistently introduces Hong Kong audience to local and imported quality productions – those which often invite contemplation on humanities and human conditions.

Artistic director Tang Wai-kit graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), École Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris, International School of Mimodrame of Paris, Marcel Marceau, and Middlesex University in the UK. He is the first Hong Kong artist to study under world mime master Marcel Marceau for three years. Tang previously taught in HKAPA (1992-1998), and travelled between Hong Kong, the UK and Korea from 1998 to 2007, engaging in theatre-related creation and teaching.
